SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

RULE 1.3.1. Operation of the trackage of the Red Rock Rail Transportation Company is governed by the General Code of Operating Rules, Fourth Edition.

RULE 1.3.2. General orders are posted on the Layout Room Bulletin Board.

RULE 1.3.6. Impaired Side Clearances: Train crews are responsible for observing that their train clears all obstructions on or near the right-of-way.

RULE 3.1. Standard fast time is shown on NCE ProCab handheld controllers, on digital readouts along the right-of-way, and in the train dispatcher's office.

RULE 4.1.1. Notice of issuance of new timetable will be in effect at least one operating session in advance of the effective date of new timetable.

RULE 6.4. Between Donner and East Colville, eastward trains operating at full power and unable to maintain speed must be stopped and inspection made for derailed car or other defect.

If no defect noted, reverse movement may be made on authorization of Dispatcher. Train must not proceed eastward until additional power is added to head end or helper is attached.

If defect is found and corrected, train may proceed eastward under continuous observation.

RULE 6.13. Location of Yard Limits:

RULE 6.16. East Colville:Westward trains contact Yardmaster for instructions before fouling switch at end of double track.

RULE 6.24. Six-axle locomotives are prohibited on the #1 track from MP 383.6 to MP 431.1 between Donner and East Colville.

RULE 6.25. Donner: Westward trains with six-axle locomotives notify train dispatcher of fact when requesting track warrant prior to departing Pantano.

RULE 8.12. Colville: Crossover switches may be left lined for crossover movement on direction of Yardmaster.

RULE 14.1. TWC limits in effect:

RULE 14.2. West Flaxler: When a train is issued "Work Between" authority that includes West Flaxler in the limits, the limits will also include the switches at West Flaxler and Track D1. All movements on Track D1 must be made at restricted speed.

RULE 15.3. Track Bulletins shall not be used to authorize movements against the current of traffic.
